FOXYMORON: NEW YOUTH
Foxymoron | Album/Single Cover | 2019
With fellow designer Grace Greason, we were asked to create the single artwork for Foxymoron's debut single. New Youth creates a nostalgic picture of New York City during the cold early days of January. The band had a very specific mood they wanted to capture for the artwork that was evocative of the nostalgia and soft yet serious nature of how the writer felt. Together, Grace and I chose the two images shown in the cover that best hit these themes and the desired atmosphere, and worked from there to bring them into focus and relate the artwork with the plans for an album in the future.
