The Inside Out Project is a global initiative that encourages people to share their stories and messages of personal identity by transforming them into public works of art. Stevenson University’s participation in this project takes the form of large student portraits wheat pasted onto outdoor walls.
I collaborated with another designer to create an informational poster to be shown with the exhibition. The poster was to fit within the three windows on the wall next to the portraits. The design of the poster plays on the limitations of the space by taking the student portraits and enlarging and splicing them together between panels. Our final version of the poster takes inspiration from constructivist posters for the typography and layout of images.
The Inside Out Project was on display at Stevenson University's Greenspring Campus during the Fall of 2017 and the Spring of 2018.
